Organisations are welcome to enter multiple categories, if they are highly relevant to your work. No. The Sport Positive Awards are complementary to the BBC Green Sport Awards and cover a variety of different categories. Sport Positive Awards are open for all to nominate themselves, rather than the shortlist being chosen by a shortlisting panel. Sport Positive continues to partner with BBC Sport on BBC Green Sport Awards. BBC Sport have shared the below:
Nominations will open end of April/beginning of May 2025, and will be open for 6 weeks. If you haven’t already, register your interest here to make sure you get the notification that nominations are open, and other important information, right to your inbox.
All staff members of Sport Positive have a non-disclosure agreement for any information they come into contact with. Judges have been advised that if confidential information is shared by entrants to prove the impact or reach of their entry, they may be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement. If you are concerned about this, email [email protected]
Our judges have agreed to a substantive code of conduct. You will notice that we will have a large judging panel, but each individual judge will only judge a few of the total categories. As our global community is heavily connected, it might be the case that the organisation that a judge works for, nominates themselves for an award. The judge will never be assigned to any category where there is a conflict of interest; which means working for or with a nominated organisation now or previously. Judges have a duty of care to declare any conflicts of interest.
If you are unable submit your entry within the online form, please email [email protected] and a member of the team will do their best to assist you.
